Why Settleground exists

We're a small, US-focused shop built around one product: a grounding mat for the places you already spend your day — under your desk, in front of your keyboard, at the foot of the sofa.

Most of us spend our days indoors, on floors and chairs, far from bare ground. Grounding is the simple idea of reconnecting to it. We're not here to tell you grounding is the answer to anything — we don't know that, and we won't pretend to. What we can tell you is that a mat is an easy, low-cost way to try it, and it comes with a trial long enough to actually find out if you like it.

How we chose this product

Before we built this store, we looked at what was already on the market. Many grounding products are fitted sheets or bedding in a dozen sizes, which means changing your bed just to try the idea. We wanted something simpler: one mat you can put down wherever you sit or stand, in two sizes, with its own US cord that plugs into the ground pin of a standard outlet.

Where our products come from

We're honest about how this works: our mats are made by manufacturing partners overseas and shipped to you from their fulfillment warehouse. We don't run our own factory, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. That's also why delivery takes 7–12 business days.

What we won't do

We won't tell you grounding treats or cures anything. We won't show you "before and after" photos, because we don't have any that are real. We won't invent a review count or a customer number to make the page feel busier than it is. If we don't know something, we'd rather say so than dress it up.

What we will do

We'll ship every US order for free, answer your emails, and give you 90 nights to decide if the mat is worth keeping. If it isn't, email us to start a return.
